Dates

The official registration will start at May 29, 2003. The SIGCOMM early registration rates apply if registering by July 26. If you can register even earlier, that will definitely help our planning.

Note: Hotel reservation deadlines for rooms at discounted rates range from June 24th-July 31th. Please see the local information page to make your hotel reservations.

Registration Fees

The conference, workshop and tutorial fees are as follows. Please note that all prices are in Euros (EUR). The exchange rate as of May 26, 2003 is:

The conference fee includes the Conference Proceedings, the new Workshop Proceedings (which contains 2/3 of the workshop papers), the Poster Session Booklet, lunches and breaks on Tues/Thurs/Fri, plus the Monday reception and the Wednesday Social Event.
The tutorial and workshop fee includes tutorial notes or any additional workshop materials, lunch and refreshments during breaks, plus the Monday reception.

Online Registration

Registration is only possible by a secured online form (strong 128 bit SSL encryption). A credit card is required for payment. We accept VISA and Mastercard. At the end of the registration process, you can choose to transmit your credit card information online using the secure form or you can send your credit card information via fax or postal mail. However, online transmission is preferred. In both cases you need the card verification number of your credit card (Help finding card verification number). The secure registration web site is hosted by University of Karlsruhe and can be found at

Once registered, an automatic e-mail will be returned. You will also receive a registration ID that should be remembered for any further questions to us. Problems with registration should be reported to sigcomm@tm.uka.de. The company handling registration (and thus the name that you will see on your credit card bill) is: Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress-GmbH (KMK). You will receive a detailed bill with your registration materials on-site. Online registration will end at August 17, 2003. After that date you have to register on-site.

An administration fee of 55 EUR will be charged for cancellations received no later than July 26, 2003. After this date there will be no refund of registration fees.
