Long papers
The process for CoNEXT long papers is handled directly by PACMNET.
Authors should have received directly communication from the publisher.
Please refer to:
https://dl.acm.org/journal/pacmnet/author-guidelines
Any other accepted paper including workshops and posters
For any other accepted paper/poster, follow the guidelines and deadlines below. (Detailed instruction please refer
https://www.scomminc.com/pp/acmsig/conext2024.htm)
1. Camera ready deadlines (hard)
- Upload revised CoNEXT short paper to shepherds for checks: October 7th, 2024
- CoNEXT Student Workshop: October 12th, 2024
- CoNEXT accepted short papers: October 14th, 2024
- CoNEXT accepted posters: October 14th, 2024
- Accepted paper to other CoNEXT workshops (DIN, 5G-MeMU, GNNet): October 14th, 2024
2. Registration
For every paper/poster, one author registration (Link Pending) is needed. Only physical presentations are allowed.
3. Revise the paper
- You must revise the original submission to address the reviewers' concerns.
- If there are any changes to the title or authors (compared to the original submission), you must contact the TPC Chairs to seek permission. Changes on HotCRP will NOT be reflected in the final publication.
- If the paper has a shepherd, you need to obtain his/her final approval for your revisions before uploading final version of the paper.
4. Format paper
Special requirements:
- CoNEXT short/workshop papers should be no more than 6 single-spaced pages for text and figures + unlimited pages for references and appendices.
- CoNEXT poster title must start with the term "Poster:"
General requirements:
- Authors are encouraged to provide reproducibility instructions in a section in the appendix.
-
ACM templates can be found here:
http://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template.
In TeX, you should use
\documentclass[sigconf]{acmart}.
-
Note, the font size in the submission is 9pt.
-
Please do NOT number the pages of your camera-ready paper (by default page numbers are disabled in the ACM template).
-
You should provide proper indexing information in the final version
according to the ACM Computing Classification System (CCS). More
information about the ACM CCS is available on ACM CCS website.
-
After completing ACM rights management form, you will be emailed the correct rights management text and bibliographic strip to place within your paper. It is essential that you add the text into your paper. Make use of the following TeX macros:
\acmYear{2024}
\copyrightyear{2024}
\setcopyright{acmcopyright}
\acmConference{CoNEXT '24}{Proceedings of the 20th International Conference on emerging Networking EXperiments and Technologies}{December 9--12, 2024}{Los Angeles, CA, USA.}
\acmBooktitle{Proceedings of the 20th International Conference on emerging Networking EXperiments and Technologies (CoNEXT '24), December 9--12, 2024, Los Angeles, CA, USA}
\acmISBN{979-8-4007-1108-4/24/12}
\acmDOI{10.1145/XXXXXX.XXXXXX} % Use the data from your email from ACM rights management
% 1 Authors, replace the red X's with your assigned DOI string during the rightsreview eform process.
% 2 Your DOI link will become active when the proceedings appears in the DL.
% 3 Retain the DOI string between the curly braces for uploading your presentation video.
-
Inclusion of running headers is a requirement. Please shorten the
headers if title or list of authors is too long, such as:
\renewcommand{\shortauthors}{First author et al.}
-
Avoid using any special characters or non-standard fonts. We must be able to display and print your submission exactly as we receive it using only standard tools and printers, thus you must embed all fonts in the PDF file. This is an ACM requirement.
5. Rights management form
- Before submitting camera-ready papers, you need to complete the rights management form. You will be notified by email once these forms are available and ready to sign.
- As rights management emails are sent from an automated system, there is a chance that emails sent will wind up in SPAM folders. Please make sure that you and your authors set email SPAM settings to allow emails from rightsreview@acm.org.
- Once you complete the rights management form, you will receive the correct rights management text and bibliographic strip to place within your paper. It is essential that you add the text into your paper.
6. Submit camera-ready version
Upload the references, source files, and PDF of your camera-ready paper to Sheridan. All authors should have received an email from Sheridan with the full instructions.
