Below is a list of hotels that offer rates for Columbia visitors and have been used for Columbia events, but you can also book via well-known travel sites such as Expedia or Hotels.com. The conference venue is located near 2960 Broadway, New York, NY, at 120th Street, on the west side of Manhattan. Many of the booking sites allow you to search for hotels near a street address.

Please book your hotel as early as possible, as hotel occupancy rates in Manhattan are very high. If you wait too long, you may find yourself with only $400-$500/night options.

You do not need to book a hotel within walking distance of Columbia University; any hotel on the west side of Manhattan is likely to be a relatively short subway ride from the conference site. You may want to confirm with the hotel whether a #1 or A train station is within walking distance of the hotel or you can use HopStop to compute how long the "commute" would take.

Manhattan lacks well-known mid-priced chain hotels, and the quality of hotel properties varies widely. Thus, it is strongly recommended that you check the ratings and evaluations of hotels, using the traveler experiences on sites such as TripAdvisor, Expedia or hotels.com.
